TNPSC Group 1 2021 Eligibility Criteria


Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying and appearing for the TNPSC Group 1 exam. Tnpsc exam eligibility criteria are set by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission in terms of current academic qualifications, age limit, physical qualification, etc. The criteria for TNPSC Group 1 change category-wise. Academic Qualification

  • The minimum current academic qualification for TNPSC Group 1 is graduation in any department i.e. It is necessary for all candidates to at least hold a bachelor’s degree from any UGC recognized university.
  • All candidates must have acquired the minimum qualification in the order of the studies as 10th + 12th/HSC + UG Degree or its equivalent + UG Degree from any UGC recognized University/Institutions.
  • It is necessary for all candidates applying for the TNPSC Group 1 exam to have sufficient knowledge of Tamil medium.
  • All aspirands who appear for their last exam are also allowable to show for the TNPSC Group 1 Exam under terms and conditions that they must obtain proof of passed the degree exam at the time of upload the credentials for the TNPSC Group 1 Mains Exam. deteriorating the exam, the candidate will not be allowed for the TNPSC Group 1 2021 Mains examination.

TNPSC Group 1 2021 Application Process

  • The TNPSC Group 1 application is an online application process. The aspirants go to the official website of the TNPSC - Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission  www.tnpsc.gov.in.

How to apply for the TNPSC Group 1 2021 Exam?


To apply for various posts of TNPSC Group 1 2021 Exam, applicants can follow these steps:

  • Click on the “Apply” on the respective recruitment notice in the TNPSC website using the Username and Password created at the time of OTR.
  • Fill in all the personal details and education details in the online application with absolute care as once the application is submitted, no changes or modifications can be done.
  • Upload requires and relevant documents according to the guidelines mentioned.
  • Once the application submission is done, the candidate can save or print their application in PDF format for future reference. By logging into an account, candidates can download their application and print it whenever necessary.
  • The application fee for the TNPSC Group 1 2021 Preliminary Exam is INR 100 and the fee for the TNPSC Group 1 2021 Mains Exam is INR 200.
  • The fee can be complete using Debit Card/Credit Card/Net banking. The candidates can also make the payment offline via HDFC Bank or State Bank of India within 2 days from the submission date of the online application by choosing the option in the online application.

The TNPSC Group 1 exam 2021 provides decent payment for all category posts. Along with the great initial pay scale, they also offer a lot of benefits and more allowances.
